Introducing Our New Safeguarding Practice Review SeriesWe delighted to launch our new Reflective Practice series, bringing together the key learning from Safeguarding Practice Reviews, Domestic Homicide Reviews and national inquiries to strengthen safeguarding across all agencies.
These reviews are some of the most powerful tools we have for improving practice. They challenge us to think differently, ask better questions and reflect on how our decisions, relationships and systems influence outcomes for children, families and adults at risk. Rather than revisiting what happened, we’ll focus on what we can learn together and how we can apply that learning with confidence in our everyday practice.
At the heart of this series is a commitment to a holistic multi-agency approach. Effective safeguarding depends on professionals working together, sharing perspectives and developing a collective understanding of risk. These sessions provide a space for practitioners from across children’s services, adult social care, health, probation, education, policing, housing and the voluntary sector to learn alongside one another and strengthen collaborative practice.
