Probation Service Officer- Sherwood Prison

Red Snapper is currently recruiting for an experienced Probation Services Officer to support the Offender Management Unit (OMU) at HMP Nottingham.

This role will support prison offender management functions within a busy custodial environment and would suit candidates with previous prison OM experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting offender management processes
• OASys assessments and reviews
• Risk assessments and risk management support
• Sentence planning and case management duties
• Parole report support
• Liaison with probation, prisons, police and MAPPA agencies
• Supporting public protection and release planning work

Essential Experience:

• Previous Probation Services Officer experience
• Previous Prison OM / POM experience
• Experience completing OASys assessments
• Understanding of offender management and risk processes
• Experience working within custodial or probation environments

Location:
HMP Nottingham, Sherwood, NG5 3AG

Working Pattern:
Hybrid working available. Remote working may be considered, however priority will be given to candidates able to attend site regularly.

Contract:
Initial 3–4 month contract with potential extension.

Pay Rate:

• PAYE: £17.44 per hour
• Umbrella: £22.89 per hour
